The Connoisseur Concerto

/ /
My friends and I had dinner together on my birthday and we went for TCC at City Link Mall. At first we headed to Bugis Junction but the TCC there is under renovation(?) which we didn't find out about that beforehand. I have to say the TCC website is very not under-friendly. Or I am a dumb user. But just do something about it because I couldn't really find the restaurant locations on the site. :/ Okie. Me stupid.

Anyway saw this thing at Bugis Junction. It's THOOOOOOORRRR! I haven't watched the movie yet. Maybe not gonna watch it in cinema. :S

So The Connoisseur Concerto (TCC) at City Link Mall... well it's not bad. We never get to tasted the cakes. The food is good but I don't really like the drinks. They were kind of tasteless. According to my friend the another TCC branch she went to (not sure which one) has really good coffee so we were a little disappointed about the drinks. The food is still good though!

Anyway you can still try out TCC at other branches. The first two pics are the disappointing drinks I talked about... Mango yogurt something and what frap... ok sorry I totally didn't take note of them. A friend also ordered some drink with alcohol... which in the end didn't really taste like there was any. Anglia Shandy was better maybe. OK FINE I KNOW WE ARE NOT AT SOME KIND OF BISTRO.

It's some kind of fish but I couldn't remember the name
Tuna Tataki Salad! It's not bad. I like the sour-ish sauce. Good appetizer.
Prawn Cheese-a-toast! This is not bad. The toast is the bottom and prawn is on top. Crispy!
Buffed Up Buffalo Wings! Lol I'm sorry it looks messy but it's actually not bad.
Seafood Aglio Olio! Not bad. A little spicy. Just a little.
Woot GUESS WHAT!
I love the gift! G gave me this since she knows I want to learn cooking!
Weird pose because I was joking about modeling. Love the purse! Thanks, B!

In case anyone wants to find out more about TCC's food, check out THIS.

Thanks to my friends who spent time with me on my birthday. Sobz. It is kind of a grown-ups thing (or it's just me?) that they (we?) don't celebrate birthday anymore. Or we don't celebrate birthday like we did. Remember the bring-a-cake-to-school-and-surprise-your-friend thing? I'm not sure about how the other grown-ups celebrate their birthdays. I don't think everyone does the get-wasted thing. I think most don't.

Anyway, I am officially on the way to the lower half decade of my 20's. Darn.

Note to self: Don't waste time. Don't waste life.
