Image moves on hover -- a Chrome opacity issue

/ /
Just a quick one.

So I was trying to play with my blog appearance and I want to add in this fade effect to images. According to this stackoverflow post:
"For some reason Chrome interprets the position of elements without an opacity of 1 in a different way..."
 After a few tryouts, the way that works is this:
-webkit-backface-visibility: hidden;
I apply the code in my img{} section (wherever the opacity fade code is embedded) and it got all better. Yeeha. Thanks stackoverflow!

  1. The OPAX-1000 Opacity Tester system provides on-line opacity testing for container manufacturing. The Opax opacity meter works with a wide variety gloss measurement
