I'm full of rage.

200 over Nigerian girls were abducted from their boarding school. And the abductor, Boko Haram, a terrorist organization, is selling them as brides for $12 each.

This makes me sad. This makes me angry.

There's not a lot that we can do. But we can do this: sign this petition to show that you care. Share it to everyone you know. I have signed it. And pray for them. It's the least that we can do.

Killer instinct

So I came across this news, and I'm still thinking what title to give to this post.

This news was 3 years ago. In SeaWorld, Florida, the tragedy happened that a killer whale (also known as orca), Tilikum, killed his trainer, Dawn Brancheau. Read the news here.

Justice?!

So I was reading news online (Sinchew) and there was this news which has only few words but it got my attention. Regarding the raped and murdered case of Chee Gaip Yap: Based on the fact that there was a third person's semen stain found from the deceased's private part, the judge sentenced that suspect Shahril is not guilty. The deceased's father tried to jump down from second floor of the court and was stopped by the media.

So I Google the deceased name in Mandarin and English (after a few attempts).

The case happened in year 2006. Victim Chee Gaip Yap was 25 years old. She went for jogging with her sister at this recreational club. She was running ahead of her sister. Later the sister found out that the victim took a long time and still not yet came back to meet her so she started searching for her around the residential area nearby. Later she found victim's blood stained hair clip and sport shoes by the road. Later at around 2:30 a.m. a Malay guy who passed by the residential area found an abandoned corpse of a young lady and made a report. The cops discovered that she was the missing victim. The body was abandoned by the road. Her neck was pierced from the front with sharp weapon to one side. She had only her black bra, her top was lifted up to her chest and her bottom was nude. Her skull was broken and she had many injuries all over her body. Autopsy showed that the stab wound at the neck was fatal. Liquid suspected as semen were found at victim's private part and anus, it was suspected that the deceased had been raped before the murder. The victim's identity card and wallet could not be found. Other than that, police have found blood stain at the residential area which was 2km away from the body. It was suspected that it's the place where the victim was raped and murdered.

In the article it also mentions that when the sister was looking for the victim, she stopped a police patrol car but the police said "Your sister probably had an accident. Go look for her in hospitals." and just left without helping to search for the victim.

The day after they found the body, police found a white van with blood and semen stain in the car. Around 10 suspects were arrested. They all worked near the residential area and club and one of them was a security guard.

Also, she was graduated from UUM. She was young and pretty. She was leaving soon for Germany.

"Mohd Zaki said he was acquitting the accused because there was no clear evidence to implicate him in the murder. The case received public attention as Shahril, 33, whose businessman father has a "Datuk" title, had fled to Perth in 2006 and had obtained permanent resident status there. Shahril fled the country after he was released on police bail pending a DNA test, but was apprehended by police at the KL International Airport on arrival from Perth on Jan 17 last year. He was charged with murdering Chee Gaip Yap, 25, in the compound of Kelab Cinta Sayang, Sungai Petani, between 5.30pm on Jan 14, 2006 and 3.05am the following day."

In his judgment, Mohd Zaki said Shahril's DNA and the semen stains taken from the woman's private part did not match.

Mohd Zaki is the Judicial Commissioner.

I don't know which news is accurate now. Well, these are my points:
1. Why did the suspect fled to Perth after he was called for the DNA test?
2. Did we live in the era where our police just "Oh no the suspect is out of Malaysia. We can't make a call to get some help from Australia police. We can't do anything now."? I mean, it was 2006.
3. Found the van, found blood stain, yet couldn't catch the bloody murderer(s).

It pissed me off. Seriously.
