HELLO OCTOBER!!!
I got the t-rex from Toys"R"Us and the bears are pen caps from The Paper Stone. I think decorating my cubicle with fun stuff makes work feel great.
I wanted to update but I didn't really have time (or make time). So what has been happening... Okay first of all I watched the Maze Runner! I think I love it more than The Hunger Games. So I know there are a total of three books: The Maze Runner, The Scorch Trials and The Death Cure. According to dear Wikipedia there are prequels too. So the trilogy are now on my to-read list. Anyway I had a runner-crush on Minho. I was like, why is he the only guy around that gets to wear a shirt?! Also Newt. I think I like the cool sidekicks kind of guys too.
I also went for Yellow Ribbon Prison Run on 14 September. It was a 6km run and I finished it (unbelievable for me I know). Well the next day I was like crippled. I'm not really a person who exercises very frequently. I think I have to exercise more.
Other than that, I also did my health screening but I haven't got my report back yet and it has been around a month already! I called twice and the lady just told me "Please leave your number and we'll call you back" FOR TWICE TOO! I hope they don't lose my report... I definitely don't want to take another half day leave and let them take a big tube of my blood again.
Now one GOOD NEWS! I went for Android application development training and now I can code for my own app! It was really fun because it has been something I want to do, also I am passionate in programming. I made some progress for my programming blog too (but I haven't posted the first post lol). Still doing some setup (well it's not like I host a website for that) but YAY I'm excited to make it go for a long time. :)
I'm also looking at Wacoom tablets, embroidery and stuff relatedf to my other hobbies.
Oh anyway there's one announcement: THANK GOD!!! My PR application has passed through the first stage (which pretty much means it is a pass). Normally people don't get it on a first try because of requirements, strong competition and so on. I'm not a local graduate nor do I make a lot of money every year nor am I a very very professional foreign talent but thank God that I passed! How does it work? No one knows. Some say the Malaysians get it easier, age does matter too, well what I know is God help me to get it. :D I've been checking my application status online and it always said PENDING. So that day I checked and I was mumbling "God I hope I could get it but if not I'd try again because I know it's really difficult to get it on the first try...". Then the page refreshed and my status was displayed as APPROVED even before I finished mumbling. I just feel incredible!
So... there might be some changes at work near year end. I don't really worry now because somehow I think God will open doors. I pray that I don't worry other times too.
I pray that whoever is reading this can find something to be thankful today: maybe that you can read? Or having the access to internet? I'm practicing to find the positive in the negative. It's a challenge for a pessimist like me (I think I was one)... oh wait, I'm a pessimist NO MORE!
Have a nice day. :)
